Biotero is the first company in Canada specializing in 100% organic topsoiling and sowing. It mainly works in the densification and lawn repair service as well as in soil transformation. Its mission is tooffer a new eco-responsible and efficient solutionin a field where chemicals mainly dominate.

History

The idea for the Biotero company sprouted in the mind of Philippe Goulet while he was the owner of one of the largest landscaping and outdoor maintenance companies in Lac-Beauport. Following the moratorium prohibiting fertilizers and pesticides near watersheds, his clients were seeking an alternative for their lawns. After conducting research, he discovered a well-known process in Europe and on golf courses. When he wanted to implement it, he realized that the production costs were very high, making it expensive for the clients. This led him to envision the machinery necessary for the Biotero concept—an innovation in the field, created by and for people from our region.
